Acquisition of Penman Engineering: In March 2020, Martin Williams (Hull) Ltd acquired key elements of Dumfries-based Penman Engineering, which included specialised vehicle building, engineering, and armoring capabilities. This acquisition resulted in the creation of Martin Williams Scotland Depot and allowed the company to combine the expertise of both companies, making it one of the largest vehicle converters in the UK. 

History and Background: Martin Williams (Hull) Ltd was founded by Martin Williams in 1990 in Hull, and it remains a family-run business managed by his sons, Nick and Chris Williams. The company has grown to become one of the UK's leading commercial vehicle service providers. 

Operations: The company operates from three UK sites, with its headquarters on an 11-acre site in Burstwick, Hull, East Yorkshire employing 165 people. The site has separate divisions for Bodybuilding, Accident Repair, Paint, and Maintenance. We specialise in providing vehicle conversions and repairs for a diverse range of clients, including local councils, government agencies, and private businesses. Our services cater to both regional and national customers, offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each organisation, from fleet vehicles to specialised transport solutions.
